Bad Luck in Poker
For a match where the majority of gamblers rarely consider fortune, there are tonnes of superstitions in poker. When you mention that a player was fortunate in that poker tournament they captured, be mindful of how you say it. For example, if you mention that you were unfortunate, your chances may not change.
Ok, that may sound a bit strange, but poker is a game armed with folklores. Did you know that if you are playing a game with 2 different decks and you’re asked to select the deck, you should always pick the deck that’s the furthest away from you? Or, how about If you have a streak of terrible cards, you need to hang out on a hankerchief to destroy your bad luck? It is certainly considered good fortune to blow through a deck of cards when they are being randomized.
Some other fascinating poker superstitions are:
- You can change the run of cards by walking around your chair three times.
- The most beneficial spot at the poker table looks at the entry.
- The worst position has its rear to a fireplace.
- When shifting chairs, you should constantly do so clockwise.
- The unluckiest poker card is the 4 of clubs.
- It is most unlucky to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
- Mon is a terrible day for wagering on cards.
- The 13th is also a horrible day, despite what day of the week it is.
