A Plus B Equals C: A Poker Gambler’s Worth is Judged by His/Her Bottom Line

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

A handful of poker tactics will astonish you with their ease. This is one of them. Note your conclusions, every time you bet.

Cult of Texas Holdem Psalm #four:

You have to record your successes and thy squanders; for it’s the sum total of all a mans accomplishments which develop his or her bottom line.

How accurate is up to you. I tend to think that hourly specifics and that type of intimate information is wasted. Basically work out how far in front you are and what amount (if any) you’ve taken out. Of course, if you are beaten, record that too, no matter how much it hurts.

Don’t forget to write down what type of game you’re competing in, if that’s significant to you. (In my experience, most gamblers keep to what they know and don’t try something they do not know. If all you do is keep winnings, down and withdrawals, you’re light years in front of most gamblers out there!)

Give yourself achievable goals, such as a ‘dream’ goal (new car, get-a-way or anything else). When you take out, add the money withdrawn to your dream tally. The more prosperous you are, the nearer that dream will get!
