Fix Attention on Annie Duke

Mrs. Duke mightn’t have captured her 1st World Series of Poker Bracelet until ‘04 but she is still one of the most feared poker players at the ring games at The Bellagio in vegas. Annie’s long-overdue WSOP bracelet came with success at the "buried game" of Omaha hi low.

While players from the "younger crowd" of poker run wild following a huge win at the tournament, Annie heads home and becomes "mom" to her 4 kids. She grew up in New Hampshire into a family of poker competitors. If you don’t believe that, check out her brother, Howard Lederer, in action who coached her how to bet on the game.

However, Annie Duke is no small change girl and has succeeded at her share of demanding tables, which includes eliminating Howard along the way on several occasions. They’re both competitors that have the skill to win the big $$$$$ and do so with a grin.

Annie Duke is a strong player at any poker table because she is a legitimate poker player, but it’s a little more than simply being great at the game. Mrs. Duke is extremely smart and graduated from Columbia U where she took a double major in English and Psychology.

When you are seated across from her at the poker table you will see she is there to compete in the game and she begins "sizing" you up as soon as you sit down at the poker table. If you can not bet like a Champion, then don’t bother.

Earning over 3 million dollars in tournament competitions, Annie branched out to become a adviser to both the UltimateBet poker room and actor Ben Affleck, who wanted to sharpen his talents and become a power at the poker table.

You will likely see her at the Bellagio, you’ll definitely observe Annie on TV and you might even play against her in an internet poker match, but do not expect a simple win. Except of course you’re a champion-in-the-making, you’ll not beat her. However, it’d be exciting to say you played at the same table as "The Duke".
